What does being Doula certified though Birth Boot Camp mean?
Birth Boot Camp began as an online or in-person childbirth classes. As they continued to educate they realized that because doulas make birth better, training doulas would be beneficial to all women. This is an intense and all encompassing certification with over 60 hours of education and hands-on training.
What is the process of meeting and hiring a doula?
Once you contact me, we will set up a free, no commitment initial consultation to get to know one another better to decide if we are a good fit.
After the initial meeting, it is up to you and your partner to decide if you would like to hire me. Once I am hired I am on your team, ready to support you every step of the way.
How do I choose between the standard and premium package?
The biggest difference between the standard and premium package is that the premium package adds a comfort measures practice meeting with you and your partner and 6 hours of postpartum care. Postpartum Doula Services can be a great comfort for families. This includes but is not limited to light housework, newborn care, meal preparation, and emotional support.
